Fighting Wolfpack Take to the Road
The 2012 Fighting Wolfpack tournaments are set for the summer. Their first tournament will be in Bloomington at the Kent Hrbek fields, May 25-27. They will then travel to play in the Eagan Summer Clash June 8-10. They will follow up their preparation for the state tourney by traveling south to play in the Albert Lea Knights Invitational June 22-24.
Be Careful When Purchasing a New Bat
The Metro Baseball League has instituted a new rule for the 2012 season in regards to bats:
FOR THE 2012 MBL SEASON ALL BATS IN THE 10-14 YEAR OLD AGE GROUP MUST BE STAMPED EITHER USSSA APPROVED 1.15 BPF, BABE RUTH APPROVED 1.10 BPF OR BBCOR
Please be careful when purchasing a new bat for the 2012 season. Ensure it is stamped with one of the above information.
