Cottage Grove Baseball

In an effort to improve the function of our organization, we have modified the way we collect the fees for the traveling level of play. In past years we have collected the tournament fees separately, which has created a headache for our coaches and for our treasurer. We will now collect $90.00 for tournament fees through online registration. There is a three installment option; to spread out payment similar to our previous method. You will have three payments authorized and automatically charged to the account that you pay your registration fees with. We will allow this until December 31st, and after this date when registering you will have to pay in full, so please take advantage of this option while it's being offered.

The $90.00 in tournament fees will pay for three tournaments, excluding gate fees. In the event you play in more than three tournaments, the fees will be collected from each player prior to that tournament. For teams that choose to fundraise, those amounts will be accounted for and any positive balance in the team account will result in disbursement to the players (up to the amounts paid).

While registering for Pitchball, Pee Wee, and Minor Leagues you will be offered your preference for nights either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.   If you truely do not have a preference, please indicate.   We will try our very best to give you your first choice but cannot guarantee.  Thank you for your understanding.  

• All players must be registered by March 23, 2012, including traveling players.
• Late fee's apply March 12 .
• Registration will only be accepted by special approval of the division director after the March 23rd, 2012 deadline
• Print a copy of your receipt for your records.  This will be your proof of registration.
• CGAA baseball is a Volunteer organization and we will need many volunteers this season.  So please consider this and fill in this part on your registration form.
• If you wish to coach with someone please put "coach with _____"  in the Notes section.
  (1 head Coach and 1 assistants max. )
• If there are family members that need to be on a team you will need to contact a board member. Other wise there will not be any other request for a specific team accepted. 
• For multi family member discounts you must enter the oldest to youngest players in order.  You will be billed the difference if not done correctly.  1st and 2nd child in baseball pay full cost.  3rd child is 1/2 off.  4th child and beyond in baseball are free.
• Traveling Teams: The Traveling program has fees above and beyond the CGAA entry fee. These fees differ based upon number of tournaments and leagues played in, as referenced in the adjacent article, we now include three tournaments in the amount collected through registration. Traveling parents are required to work at the Cottage Grove hosted tournament.
• IF YOU ARE PLAYING 10 YEAR OLD TRAVELING, NO MATTER YOUR AGE, BE SURE AND SELECT 10 YEAR OLD ON THE AGE LEVEL SELECTION OPTION OR YOU WILL NOT FIND THE TRAVELING OPTION.
• We no longer ask for birth certificates as proof of age for in-house. All prior birthcertificates on file have been shred to protect information  privacy.
