Cottage Grove Baseball

The president oversees all directors of the division.  He is responsible for running the division meetings and is the baseball representative at the main board meetings. 

The budget director is the treasurer for the division.  She is responsible for writing checks and accounting for all funds and expenses.  She prepares a monthly reconcilliation presented at each board meeting.

The in-house Director handles most aspects of the in-house program.  They oversee the tournaments and the league and direct the coaching of the league.

The Traveling Director oversees most of the traveling aspects.  He is responsible for working with MBL, our traveling league organization, setting up teams and tournaments.  He also works with off-season training and sets up coach interviews and takes the lead in running and suggesting changes for tryouts.

The fields Director is in charge of finding volunteers to handle fields projects.  They arrange for repairs to field equipment, base pegs and batting cages.  They supervise the schedule for traveling and in-house field use and maintain a schedule for games and practices.

The Equipment Director manages the equipment for the in-house and traveling teams.  He maintains an inventory and orders equipment for both traveling and in-house teams.

The Registration Director oversees all registration and collection of funds and scholarships.  She arranges for in person registrations and works with our IT department in making sure all players are in the system.

The Director of Umpires arranges umpires for all in-house games, that require an umpire.  She recruits and trains all the umpires and works with the Budget Director to make sure they are paid. 

The Director of Communications handles media relations, postcards, Balls and Strikes and other public relations aspects.  She is also the secretary at the meetings recording the minutes for each meeting.

The Tournament Coordinator arranges volunteers for each tournament for the in-house and the traveling levels.  They work with the directors to setup the brackets and arrange for trophies and concessions.
